Cancellation & Refund Policy

This Cancellation & Refund Policy explains how cancellations, refunds, and reversals are handled on the RentHatke platform operated by Rent Hatke Private Limited.
1. Application Cancellation
- Users may cancel their application before disbursement at any time.
- Once disbursement is completed, cancellation of the loan is not permitted.
- To cancel an application, contact our support team at support@renthatke.in.
2. Loan Cancellation
- Loans cannot be cancelled after disbursement has been completed.
- Prepayment or foreclosure may be allowed as per the terms set by the respective lending partner.
- Foreclosure charges, if applicable, will be disclosed in your loan agreement and Key Fact Statement (KFS).
3. Refunds
Refunds, if applicable, may occur in the following cases:
- Duplicate payment: If a payment is charged more than once due to technical issues.
- Excess payment: If an amount greater than the due EMI is collected.
- Failed transaction: If the amount is debited from your account but the transaction fails on our end.
Refund Processing:
- Refunds will be processed to the original payment source (bank account, UPI, or card used for payment).
- Refunds are typically processed within 7–10 working days, subject to bank processing timelines.
- For refund status, contact support@renthatke.in with your transaction details.
4. Fees & Charges
- Processing fees or platform fees (if applicable) are non-refundable once services are availed and the loan is disbursed.
- EMI payments already made towards loan repayment are non-refundable.
- All fees and charges are disclosed in the Key Fact Statement (KFS) provided before loan disbursement.
5. Mandate Cancellation
- Mandate cancellation requests are accepted only after loan closure.
- Cancellation requests can be raised through your RentHatke dashboard or by emailing support.
- Processing of mandate cancellation may take 5–7 working days after request submission.
- Cancelling mandate before loan closure may result in EMI bounce charges and penalties.
6. Dispute Resolution
All refund or cancellation disputes must be raised through:

- Dashboard: Raise a support ticket from your RentHatke dashboard
Disputes are typically resolved within 15 working days. If not satisfied, you may escalate to our Grievance Officer at grievance@renthatke.in.
